In the wake of Whitney Houston’s untimely death, we weren’t sure how the Grammys would hold up but just like everything the show must go on. Adele won big, winning 6 Grammys of her 6 nominations including Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year and Song of the Year. Nicki Minaj showed up with the Pope and Rihanna and Chris Brown twerked to high heavens in their dance-a-thon performances. Yet the night belonged to Whitney. Many, including us, waited for Jennifer Hudson to come on stage upon hearing she sing her rendition of “I Will Always Love You”. And she did Whit justice singing the song, which left us tearful.
We’ll miss you Mama Whit and congrats Adele! Here’s some of our fave performances of the evening!
